Hey folks,
long time, no post but I came across a jewel I have to share. There is a wonderful field for kite buggying in the folsom area. From Downtown
Sacramento take HWY 50 east and exit at Hazel. Go north, over the bridge by Nimbus Fish Hachery and Lake Natomas dam. Continue on Hazel until
Sunset, then go right (east). Sunset begins to go down a curvy hill, and at the very bottom there is a stop sign with a sharp left turn. Straight
ahead is a metal gate. Take a right at the stop sign and park on the side of the road/gravel area. Not sure about parking and whether it's legal
(appears to be) so check it out on your own. Bring your buggy through the gate and follow the paved roadway to the right. The field is a 4 minute
walk. Best winds found in the middle. I went on a day weather.com said 14mph winds and with a 5M kite I was going just as fast as I wanted to, which
was quite fast.
Enjoy,
shawn

Thanks for sharing. Is it private property ? being that you have to go through a gate.

Folsom isn't any closer to me than the sod field. I can't imagine anything much better than the sod field.
