I'm going up to DC for the next 4 days and trying to find a spot to fly, does anyone know where one is? I talked to barnes and we are thinking the
monument but not sure if you can, apparantly they hold a kite festival there. 
Also if anyone is up there pm me your # if you think u might be able to meet up and i'll give you a call and see whats up.
