Is there a website that you use for forcasted wind speeds or is this just part of the local weather report?

The Weather Channel is pretty good - Here is the link to Augusta, Georgia. Sorry, it didn't have Seacoast, NH.

At least in my area is the 'today' or current reading is very accurate. The hour by hour is just somewhat reliable.

Yes, I just pull mine off of weather channel gold. The lake wind advisory said
WINDS WILL BE FROM THE NORTHWEST AT 15 TO 25 KNOTS...WITH GUSTS AROUND 30 KNOTS BEING POSSIBLE. There were some gusts an hour ago that I'm sure hit
35 mph. I was too scared to take out the CF.

Try weatherforyou.com I use it in Portland ME and find it to work well, there are links to local conditions usually small airports. If you feel like
driving, try Pine Point beach in Scarborough Me on a southerly wind.

I could be on the NC Outer Banks in 8 hours or on Jekyll Island, GA in 3.5 hours. Better stay down this way.

I don't like using the word (scared). I just say that I respect the wind. Glad to see you got som wind Bob. Just like here. not enough or to much. I
guess that only happens when you don't have enough kites.
