yeah its called towing. This weekend I am getting in a harness with my 8 meter and have my friend pull me on his bike accross a parking lot
lqtms!
yeah I know its dumb but I will have a helmet and be on like a 10 foot tow rope.
gerd1022 - 15-11-2007 at 09:32 AM
that seems like a bad idea.
especially on a parking lot
and with the amount of pull the ace has, i say good luck to your pedaling friend.

:duh:

No way on the bike dude. You need like a golf cart or a 4 wheeler! Then you can get up more speed so you can go higher. You need about a hundred
foot rope though, so you can really get up off the ground. I wonder how much stress those Pansh bridles can take before they break? They are built
to paraglider standards aren't they?

Towing = bad idea.

I'let you know when I find a golf cart. For now I will stick with a bike, (if I even try) and we will do it into the wind and downhill.

Be sure to film it.
Should make a great tutorial of what not to do despite repeated warnings.

I'm starting to think he is just messing with us. He goes from one ought-not-to to the next.
NPWfever - 16-11-2007 at 02:56 PM
LOL! I'm not messing I just want to try everything. Sorry if I come accross that way.

You are getting close to having a girlfriend that puts a stop to most of this stuff we recommend you don't do. You suddenly won't have much time to
get out any more with the job, and dates and stuff. Also in another 10 years or so, that part of your brain that can evaluate consequence will kick
in and you won't have to ask us about many of these adventures any more. You will just tell yourself "no, I could get hurt doing that". On the other
hand, I'm a little jealous that your simple life of youth gives you the time and opportunities to do this stuff and some ability to make it happen.

The trick is to stay able to make stuff happen without ending up in the hospital.
