mecdave - 1-11-2007 at 04:16 AM

Ah yes, I remember it well. It was April 2004 shortly after SBBB, as it was called back then. Kroc didn't care much for the country western music in one of my videos so he suggested some ABBA instead. Careful what you ask for! Two hours later a new dance craze was born... :singing:

Dancing Queen
http://buggytexas.com/vids/dq.wmv (about 9MBs)

But that's not the only dancer we have in this thread!

Big Johnny Pinkslip (aka jojo1) does Mozart.
http://buggytexas.com/vids/mozart.wmv

If you see this guy wandering around on the beach or playa, please point him back towards camp...

Onset of Dementia
http://buggytexas.com/vids/jellis.wmv

And the country western video?

Steel Horses as sung by George Strait in Racing the Wind...
http://buggytexas.com/vids/SteelHorses.wmv

bugymangp - 1-11-2007 at 09:41 AM

Yeah, I enjoyed seeing the happy dog too. I've been wracking my brain trying to remember if he appeared on any of the other video clips. Guess I'll have to review them all someday. ;)

And 20 days until the bird gets fried.

Trying to think of what to cook/bring.

krocdoc - 2-11-2007 at 06:46 PM

for the un-initiated or just the hungry ones....

the bird

Taper123 - 3-11-2007 at 08:06 AM

My stomach's growling just looking at that pic... think I'll have to cook one tomorrow (just for practice).

Deadhead - 3-11-2007 at 08:54 AM

Damn that looks good.......and doc tells me to lay off the fried foods yesterday. Guess I'll stand around munchin celery whilst everyone has at.

Cat - 3-11-2007 at 04:17 PM

Naw - you can have some - just don't eat the skin and eat the white meat. - - But I'd love to see more Vegetarians out there! Cat (Registered Dietitian)

Deadhead - 4-11-2007 at 08:44 AM

Guess I could always bring along a TofuTurkey......but somehow the Dead Plant Buggy Bash just doesn't sound quite right.

Cat - 4-11-2007 at 10:24 AM

Probably would not taste too good either and it would shake like jello!

Taper123 - 5-11-2007 at 06:06 AM

Being a member of PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals), I woud have to pass on the Tofu Turkey.

Figure I'll heat up a giant can of corn to go with the dinner. Will have a burner open on the stove if anyone else needs to heat up something.

bugymangp - 5-11-2007 at 08:04 AM

12 days and counting.
we`re getting close.

Cat - 5-11-2007 at 11:41 AM

I just can't get this PETA thing out of my mind - Taper123 I know your going to like my Textured Veg. Protein - may make a Veggie out of you! I'll need a use your burner to cook it up!

action jackson - 5-11-2007 at 11:46 AM

Cat,
Even your dog will not eat that crap! Speaking of dogs and crap, Do not let Corey feed your dog!...........aj

Cat - 5-11-2007 at 01:11 PM

Oh come on AJ - it's good stuff! Taste like Chicken. Ok so whats the storey with Corey and feeding my dog?

coreykite - 5-11-2007 at 01:50 PM

DON"T TELL HER, AJ.
That story is not meant for the internet.

Besides, I told Catto not to eat it.
He just didn't listen to me.

I don't know...
A lifetime of good deeds (not my life, just an example)
All flushed away in "one swell foop" (try reversing the first letters of the 2nd & 3rd words)

How much longer must I carry this burden?

kitemaker4 - 6-11-2007 at 07:16 AM

How much longer must I carry this burden? Corey

You have to carry this burden until we forget. Just ask Glenn about the chilli.

Susan

bugymangp - 6-11-2007 at 08:20 AM

hey susan
very funny. i totally forgot about my chilli thing.
i know i`ll never live that one down.
tell you what!!!!! this year i`ll sit in your buggy while i`ll
eat the chilli. LOL

Taper123 - 6-11-2007 at 12:26 PM

I can see it now after a super duper speed run.... Honest! It's just a chilli stain!

Speaking of chili and food... as far as I can gather so far here's what's on the menu so far:

Turkey
Sweet Potatoes
Green bean Casserole
Cranberry Sauce
Cherry Cobbler
Potatoes and Gravy
Corn
Textured Veggy Protein

Hmmm... maybe I could grab a big bag of dinner rolls from Sams also. It's a pot luck dinner, so it's going to be as good as we make it

bugymangp - 6-11-2007 at 01:22 PM

hey taper
thats not what happened at all.
i guess i got to tell the story here.
not that i want to.LOL
we were all having a nice bowl of chilli.
now my gut is not what it used to be.
i sat down in jon`s buggy to enjoy my chilli.
as soon as i finished my bowl. my gut started feeling werid.
i threw up right next to jon`s buggy but from were i was sitting everybody thought i threw up IN jon`s buggy.
needless to say everybody moved away from me. why i don`t know. LOL
so from now on. ITS NO CHILLI FOR ME. HOW MATTER HOW GOOD IT TASTES.

kitemaker4 - 6-11-2007 at 04:08 PM

There is a ham in there for good measure too.

Susan

Cat - 6-11-2007 at 04:49 PM

You asked for it! ;)

"What does a Oklahoma graduate and a tornado have in common?"

A. They both will end up in a trailer park.

-----------------------------------------------------

What do you call the sweat on two sooners having sex?

Relative Humidity.

-----------------------------------------------------

Q: What do they call duct tape in Stillwater?
A: Chrome.

------------------------------------------------------

How do you get an okie cheerleader into your room?

A: Grease her hips and throw in a twinkie.

------------------------------------------------------

Did you hear about the Oklahoma linebacker who stole a police car?
He saw "911" on the side and thought it was a Porsche.

------------------------------------------------------

Q : How do you come to own a small business in Oklahoma?
A : Start a large business and put an OSU grad in charge of it.

------------------------------------------------------

Last week, severe thunderstorms and an F-5 tornado moved
through the Stillwater area. Damages were estimated at $5.00

------------------------------------------------------

Q: Why is ice no longer available at Oklahoma State football games?
A: The sophomore with the recipe left school when his eligibility was up.

------------------------------------------------------

Q: Why do Oklahoma State cheerleaders wear bibs?
A: To keep the tobacco juice off their uniforms.

-------------------------------------------------------

Q. How do they practice safe sex in Oklahoma?
A. By placing a warning sign on the animals that kick.
-------------------------------------------------------

You know you're from Oklahoma if:
You've been on TV more than 5 times describing the sound of a tornado.
You can't get married to your sweetheart because there's a law against it.
You've ever climbed a water tower with a bucket of paint to defend your sister's honor.
Someone asks to see your ID and you show them your belt buckle.
The Blue Book value of your truck goes up and down depending on the amount of gas in the tank.

-----------------------------------------------------

There was a Sooner fan who went hunting and ran across a
beautiful, naked woman in the woods. He asked "Are y'all game?"
She smiled seductively and nodded yes. So the Okie shot her.

------------------------------------------------------

Little David was in his 5th grade class when the teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up -- fireman, policeman, salesman, etc... David was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked him about his father.
"My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes, if the offer's really good, he'll go out to the alley with some guy and make love with him for money."
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some coloring, and took Little David aside to ask him, "Is that really true about your father?"
"No," said David, "He coaches at the University of Oklahoma , but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the other kids."
