I came across this website and wanted to know if anyone has tried this?

I have a pair of junk skis so the deal could be made on rainy afternoon in my basement. Let me know

never done it but heard you can't stay up wind so I'll probably never bother

Well I've seen a guy booking across some really slimy muddy sand on his kitesurf board, looked to have good speed and be holding an edge. I think he
was too lazy to walk back through the slop at low tide.

If you're powered enough, you could ski on asphalt. :o Of course, you could only do it once per pair of skis
and falling would be rough :sniff:

Yeh, I made some, quick to make and pretty lame really, I can go upwind....just...when the sand is right.
You can have mine if you want, except I'm in Australia.

i tried snowboarding on the sand in california, it almost worked, the sand is quite fine there....
Yeah, keeping your edge is the main problem!!
Good fun trying though
You need quite a lotta wind as well
