Canada is a big place. The most organized and active Province both on land and water is Quebec. On the opposite side, here in B.C. we are getting our
act together. Anything you find around here is going to be a big step down from Aus. You can count on being welcome !!!

Cheers Snowbird yeah forgot to mention it'll be somewhere in BC I'll be working. Coming over next week for a job interview, where do buy ya kiting
gear from as I'm chasing a landboard thinking I might be able to pick one up duty free!! By the way thanks for the info.

Presently used boards aren't that easily found around here . Pablo can put you right if I'm wrong but I think you need at least $400 + new around
here. Duty free may be worth looking at. It should be easy to sell once you have used it. Folks are pretty good about sharing and or demo-ing gear
around here. If you are in the Vancouver area let me know I'll P.M. you my phone # I have more than 1 ride so no one will have to stand around.
Our cell phone contracts are VERY different than yours. Be sure you understand what you do and don't get if getting one. The couple of Aussies I know
that came for the work thing got stung somehow. For long distance home buy calling cards.
Good Luck Mate !!!

I could be persuaded to get a new board myself and part with the Patrol 106, although I love that board, or hook you up with a decent price on a new
one once your here. I can get GI in Canada, if you're after MBS, most are coming from the states. If you're going to be in town during the SOBB in
sept, it'd be a great time to pick one up and bring it home with you.
SOBB?

Seaside Oregon Buggy Bash
It's an unofficial get together of land kiters. It's over the long weekend in September. About a 6 hour drive from here but by far the best beaches /
dunes around. 18 miles of them !
Where to?

G'day all well I've been offered a Job in BC Canada now just got to decide were to live, what are you're thoughts on Pemberton and Fort St.John.
I now have a Ground Industries Flight Lite 100 to bring over with me and getting to be quite competent riding on the beach.

Pemberton is about 45 minutes from Squamish, which is rated #3 over all for kitesurf spots in north america. There's also a decent kite shop in
Squamish. And it's only 1 1/2 hrs from the Vancouver crowd, so it'd be easy to hook up with us, Fort St John is way up north in no mans land,
something like 15 hr drive from Vancouver. Pemberton is also about 15-20min from Whistler/Blackcomb, which is a world class ski resort, Green lake
right beside Whistler has some good snowkiting for a couple months a year as well.
If I had to pick on area and kiting, I'd say Pemberton, but you'd also have to go on what's better for work.
