I picked up Pablo's MBS Blade mountian board after he found it a good tool for learning. I think he was right because I'm also finding it very learner
friendly. It's big and heavy. Not a good thing for a seasoned rider but working very well for learning. It's weight is a big asset right now because
I'm so light. It's size makes it easier to hold back when I would have gone over the front of smaller lighter boards I've tinkered with. It's the most
beginner friendly board I've fallen off of by far !

First buy a cheap board so that you now that boarding is for you. theres no point buying a £200 board and then think 'i dnt like this ill buy a
buggy' nd only get half the money back

I agree about picking up a cheap board you expect to pass on.
Paul gave the board away at $200 cdn. It's built super tough and I expect to be able to pass it on without too much depreciation or too much trouble.

i suggest a Flexdeck, its what i started out with and i love it so much ive kept it all these 5 years!

Currently riding a GI Patrol 106, love it to bits, I'm a big guy as well and so far it's taken everything I've thrown at it. Carves nice, takes
landings from a 250lb guy from 5 ft up no problem.

i maybe selling my kheo fx with adjustable suspension

second hand is definitely the way to go!!!!
You can get a board which doesnt way 16kg, and you can get it cheap.
You can spend under 90 pounds on a ultimately cheap board, or get a good board 2nd hand which may be a bit beaten up.
just go for a board which has a reasonable RRP - wether u get it for that or not.
I'd recommend going to shops and standing on boards, get a feel for them. Try friends boards. etc.
One advantage to buying a Flexideck, is from my experience is they dont loose much value.

Thats not really suspention, its a steering mechanism, much like the skate-truck kinda design.
It makes little difference when you're starting out
