Asking over here too since I know a bunch of you guys still ride, I just bought a kite buggy after having wanted one since the mid 90's... FINALLY!
However, how do people attach themselves to the buggy when they do aerial tricks? I've seen many vids of people doing this, but none showing how they
keep themselves in the seat. I've got an old Flexifoil buggy if that helps.

a quick search gave me this - https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ftsa&q=seatbelt+for+kite+buggy...
i have no direct experience with a seatbelt but do remember reading that people said NO to them due to being dragged upside down after their bugs
flipped over.
i would imagine that a qr would solve that dilemma, but it would have to be readily accessible for either hand and easy to deploy no matter what
orientation you are in while being dragged.
a roll cage of sorts may be in order here as well to save your head and neck.
AGAIN, i have no direct experience with this, just letting my mind wander.

Yeah, I've had a few OBE's and I think a seat belt would have been a bad idea. Getting pulled out of the buggy is bad enough. I think being tied to
the buggy would be worse.

I found what I was looking for, called a "Hot wire". I just wanted to be able to jump with it.
