Unfortunately I have found myself having moved from the coastal areas of Texas to Leavenworth Kansas of all places and it looks like I am stuck here
for the long haul... I am having a Hell of a time trying to find any place to fly that is not covered in corn, trees, private property, or more
corn... And the fields I have found are only maintained on the edges and the rest is left to be overgrown. Something about trying to preserve the
native grasses... Anyone in here that's still around and in the area or know of anywhere to fly that is open enough for landboarding. Most places look
like a disaster waiting to happen... I miss the Gulf...

Feel your pain brother. I had my own little "field of dreams" up until a few years ago, when the son of the farmer who gave me permission to fly
there, said I can no longer - liability concerns :-(
I haven't been able to source another decent patch of land in SE South Dakota, so am only flying in the winter on frozen lakes. It's better than
nothing, but I sure miss taking the landboard out.

Have you tried looking for sod farms [there is a club in the UK doing that and posting a fair number of videos] or large athletic complexes/ parks?
