Shoreline Update

elkiter - 26-4-2007 at 03:21 PM

Shoreline is back to how it was. I'll be heading out tomorrow (04-27-07), right after work. Can't wait to try out my newly purchased second-hand U-Turn Butan.
Anyone who cares to join? You're more than welcome. The weather should be nice and warm. Hopefully there's enough wind to power a 3.5m

I was somewhat wrong in saying that Shoreline is back to how it was.
Well, the dirt strip on the middle of the lot that was dug up has been fixed and re-gravelled but it isn't how it was. It is really grippy this time and doing power slides
is almsot an instant flip over. I avoided riding on it whenever I can, instead I stayed mostly on the grass area which was also a b**tch, but just have to live with the foxtails sticking in every places.
Nevertheless it was an awesome weekend for me. I couldn't ask for a better wind condition and the weather was an added bonus. I had the field all by my self on friday, flying my Butan. Then saturday & sunday I was joined by few buggiers and land boarders. Great times!

We should take advantage using the field before the start of the concert season.

PS - I you like to ride on the gravelled area, wear protection on your knees and elbows...and oh wear helmet too.

I stopped by last Thursday (6/12) after work, just to see who was around. There weren't even any single-line kiters. I was hoping to catch Vince. If you see him, let him know that I still want to buy is old buggy. I hope to get out there more this summer. Who still comes out regularly?

This is my favorite spot to ride.
