For those arriving in the Golden Isles Region before JIBE, there will be a concert in downtown Brunswick at 6 pm on Sunday on the lawn at Mary Ross
Park on the waterfront near the marina.
It is part of a free concert series promoted by Brunswick and other local sponsors held the first Sunday of every month. Joan and I attend these
whenever we can and we have never heard a bad band. We bring lawn chairs or blanket, a picnic and some wine and an assortment of small dogs.
Concerts are rain or shine. If weather is questionable, the concert is held under the large open air shelter next to the park that is normally used
for the farmers market. Plenty of free parking.
The band playing this time will be Whiskey Hotel, a local band playing progressive rock and R&B.
