I know somebody out there needs a nice new 3m :D
I got a great price on these 2 kites for my teenage boys who took a big interest in flying mine but as soon as school started amongst other things
they lost interest quickly. I figure I would try and find them a new home, (kites, not the teenagers, )so I can feed my own needs (wants) for a 4m beamerrtz - 22-9-2016 at 06:35 PM
I'd like to get that Beamer VI.garbagecasey - 22-9-2016 at 08:08 PM
It's ready to ship if you want it. If no one buys them I will probably end up putting a extra line set on one. I bought a 25m flexifoil quad
line set on Amazon for $50. The Beamers come with the 20m line set so my hopes were I would be able to get a little more window with the longer lines.
All my flying is mainly soccer/school fields. Might be a pain to keep switching line sets, so it won't hurt my feelings if I have to keep one for that
reason but figured I would try and sell both to get the $$ for that Beamer VI 4m. Give me a U2U if anyone wants a new kite at a kick ass pricegarbagecasey - 23-9-2016 at 04:46 PM
Beamer VI is gone. Thanks rtz, hope it's a good edition to your already impressive quiver. The sale will help with the cost of the 4m Beamer I'm
wanting. I think I'm going to hold onto the 3m Beamer V for the extra line set I have. Thanks to all for looking.rtz - 23-9-2016 at 10:04 PM
I've been needing one in this size. We used to get winds to the point that a 2m kite was my go to size. These days the winds need a 3m. So now I
can better back to back test the new Hornet to the new Beamers. Still on the fence about which one I like better or what the finer differences are
between the two. Thanks for the kite.garbagecasey - 24-9-2016 at 10:02 AM
Keep me posted of your findings between the two. I'm curious myself the differences. I added a Beamer from Bigmikeskites to my shopping cart but
didn't finish the order, but received a email from him the next day telling me another option to look at was the hornet which he liked better, so of
course now I'm curious before getting a 4m. All I've really gathered for forum is that the Hornet is a little more forgiving in in-land winds. Let me
know.rtz - 24-9-2016 at 08:01 PM
Their very similar and both excellent kites. You'll appreciate the Hornet's excellent gust handling abilities. I've flown my 4m Hornet in some
extremely gusty conditions and it excels. The current model Hornet is leaps and bounds better than the previous model Hornet II.rtz - 30-9-2016 at 12:15 AM
It arrived today. Took it out to rig it up. Static flew it in a breeze. Flys so nice. Such a smooth kite.
The real test will be when we get some real wind; if it will run 30mph. That's my benchmark for kites. A lot kites I really can't get much more than
20mph out of them. Also looking forward to flying it back to back with same size Hornet.
Really nice looking kite.

Right on. Glad to hear it got there. I like the new color scheme. Keep me posted of your findings. skimtwashington - 1-10-2016 at 04:19 AM

You're buggying on grass fields with the kites?
Why can't you get much more than 20 mph?
I don't know what changes the Beamer Vl has over past models, but my Beamer lll handles gusty, punchy winds so very well, and is my
'unsteady-high-wind'( 20-30mph) kite for those winds. The grunt of the 3m size is also(for me) not too much to fly unhooked if I want to be extra
safe(is there any safer release system than just your hands letting go of kite handles?...{ AQR?}) or if I just want that arm /shoulder work out I
enjoy.
They're a great compliment to a quiver of race kites for the crazy wind days....and the way the kite handles alone, adds some element of safety. rtz - 1-10-2016 at 07:15 AM
I only have a short distance to get up to speed then I have to turn around. And the up and down wind; the power just doesn't seem to ever be "full
on" to really go for it.ssayre - 1-10-2016 at 07:23 AM

I can relate.
I need one of these in my life!

Let me know if you want to sell the other one. My Beamer 3m was eaten recently by a beachcomber. I'm looking to replace it.
