Hi all

I'm going to Perth to do some kitesurfing next week :singing: But i've heard so many different views re the sizes of kite used there. Does anyone on this forum live in Perth? or have any useful info for me :puzzled:

sorry mate, no smugness intended. your question was just far too vague for a forum. if you want detailed answers, post detailed questions (ie. "I am a intermediate level kitesurfer weighing 170lb and the prevailing wind in Perth is 18mph and I have a Naish 13m and a Wipika 9m riding on a 190cc Connelly board, which kite should I bring?";).

still the prob is that no one can tell what the wind will be like at one location on earth on any given weekend, so my honest advice would still be - pack everything... use what works best.

hope you enjoyed your surf trip.

i live in australia, but i've never been to perth. It is in a deserty kind of state, so i imagine that the would be a lot of open space for the wind to blow round. I think. Did that help?

To late I know but Perth is lame at this time of year.

It is either nothing or gail force storms. The odd good day inbetween!

here is the aussie kite forums.
