Arriving in fort walton/destin Sunday afternoon and stickin around for a week with the family. Bringing my new hydra 420 ,still pretty new to
this, but interested in meeting some other fliers,any locals? I know when i was there last in 2011 there was a stack of guys kite surfing/boarding on
the bay side.

There's a shop in Ft. Walton called Liquid Surf and Sail. They have a all kinds of gear for watersports, including kiting. They also have a bar at
the back of the store where I'm told (by the owner), the locals hang out. The owner is a guy named Bobby, very friendly and I'm sure he can fill you
in on the local scene. On your way from Destin you will pass the park where everyone kitesurfs. I love the place - have gone there for years.
