The dinner is over(burp), and the raffle was held(nice going Steve
),
the awards were passed out, the thank you's and the help was acknowledged, the last day is here to get in the last run, say goodby, and hope for a
bigger, better, more stupendous IBB next year.
I want to thank Jon Ellis who wasnt able to attend, for the vision of NAPKRA. Without Jon the NAPKA races would not have been what they are today.
THANKS MUCH JON.
I want to thank Morrie for doing what was needed but not appreciated.
Being Race basterrrrd, er I mean Race Master (inside joke which is still funny) is not easy or desired. THANKS MUCH MORRIE.
And most of all, I want to thank my wife for hearing every word, being there from the beginning and allowing all the meetings, discussions, and
gatherings to fill her house and not kill anyone. She did put up a sign on the door that said the inside of the rv was a no kite zone, which ment dont
come in here and talk about kite stuff-take it outside.:saint:
There were a few others that stood in the background that were key to the sucsess of IBB. To you quiet few I tip my hat to you. Thank you.
To all of you that missed IBB this year, all I can say is you missed a good one.
THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE EXPERIANCE.

I was very impressed with the protocol and system for racing. Jon you were missed and spoken of fondly many times. I asked lots of questions and no
one treated me like an idiot for not knowing the answers already, but instead making sure I understood.
I learned that you forget much of what you were previously good at when someone puts some cones on the ground and says go around those as fast as you
can. As hard as I tried to make it so, the quickest path between 2 points is almost never a straight line. :o
Thanks again for everyone that made racing at Ivanpah a safe and fun reality.

The ear to ear grins on everybody's faces after racing was the most amazing sight. I finally started to get what you got all along Jon !
I ride with a lot of these guys regularly and I don't think I ever saw that " I just hit a new level " look on all of them at the same time before !
It was priceless and infectious .
You have been a good Mentor to Eli Jon . He is pushing these guys and they are LOVING IT ! Even though you couldn't make it, your influence did and
you were talked about often! You can be proud of the whole Sunset Gang as I am proud of the Canadians. Big prop's to Ron for taking the novice title
home to Canada ! + to D'sliddy for getting out there and being a true threat on the race course.
I am ALL HAPPY to see that the event and races left everybody with such great smiles and memories.
