Which Kite(3m2 vs 4m2)

DRH1469 - 29-12-2013 at 07:46 AM

Hello all!

Im looking for a new kite, unfortunately as I live in South Africa, my options are limited. The kite I'm looking should be able to do things like scudding and maybe Landboarding

I weigh 75Kgs
I'm 14

The options I have are:
Option 1: http://www.hiflykites.co.za/kite-online-shop/power-kite-rad-...
Option 2: http://www.hiflykites.co.za/kite-online-shop/power-kite-rad-...

Edit: Meant to say landboarding instead of Kiteboarding*

i think you will be fine scudding, but these are open cell kites and should not be taken in the water. All of it depends on your winds where you are. From the description of the kites, I would suggest the 3m as a starting point as it more matches your skill level and size.

If it is too small, you can always get bigger as your skills progress. If you get too big early, you may get hurt and abandon the whole idea.

let us know what you choose

Should mention it's not my first kite, only my first 4-string kite and I meant landboarding instead of kiteboarding :D
I know open cell kite aren't good for water as they don't float on the surface as opposed to LEI

Edited my main post!
