Wind was shifty, but still had a great time riff! Hope we can catch a n/w wind there next time. Can't wait to run that blue taco in the buggy soon!!Proletariat - 20-10-2013 at 06:02 PM
Nice. How about some captions? Is that a couple of frenzys in pic 2? What other kites & sizes, out of curiosity.riffclown - 20-10-2013 at 06:07 PM
Top to bottom in picture 2;
Flexifoil Bullet 4.5
HQ Crossfire II 4.0
And the other two are two of 3hot's Ozone Flows 2&4 meter I think.
Wind was calmer and from a diiferent direction than predicted. 4M and up was the rule of the day.3shot - 20-10-2013 at 06:10 PM
yes on the 2&4m Flows.
Should have grabbed my 5m Flow & 6.9 Reactor II today
Any other day I'd have all my gear. soliver - 20-10-2013 at 07:46 PM

You are always welcome to join us. This was in Yorktown near the waterfront. When winds ar N to NE, it's a great place to fly static. Any time you'll
be in SE Virginia, look us up. Our numbers are growing.. :-) We're going to have to start an un-club or something.

Is that the field at Buckner and Water Street across the street from the Ben & Jerry's?

Need my eyes checked - saw the title as "A few Satanic pics" and did a double-take.

That would be the spot. It's a decent halfway point for both 3shot and me. Great place to fly static when the winds are anywhere between North to
East. That's what was predicted but unfortunately, not what showed up. The bridge makes things swirl a bit when there's any West to the wind. We still
had a great time and got to fly the bigger kites.SFKITER - 21-10-2013 at 11:49 PM
