Trapeze size?

What trapeze size would be OK?
Should i measure my waist?

I am a big guy 200 lbs and my t-shirts are mostly XL. :rolleyes:

He is talking about a spreader bar. and 10 inch would be fine. Or at least that's what they're called when I order I'm from Europe

Called trapeze in the US too, but generally refer to the marine version used for sailing/boats.

Hook structure tends to be a bit different than what is used for kites.

Sailing traps aren't designed for the same loads a kite could deliver, nor are kite spreaders designed for sailing loads.

Detonator, Just like buying a pair of jeans, different makes and models of harnesses fit different sizes, and types of builds. Ideally try and find some you can try on, either at a shop, or some guys flying at the beach. Kiters are usually very helpful.

Failing that, just go with your waste size. That's how the harnesses are usually sized up. A safe bet would be the ozone access harness. Its a climbing style harness, and fits anything from about 32-33 inch up until around 50 inch apparently. I'm somewhere between 35-37 (I think, I havent bought clothes in a long time) and it fits me fine, and there is a looot of extra room !

not necessarily true, bought to many that were not sized as they stated. best bet would be to find a shop or someone who has one and try it on.
I have a few that were marked XL that my 4 year old grand son would wear.:lol: then on the other side of that I have one that I wear, the size is small and I have a 36 inch waist. makes me feel skinny.:rolleyes:
