At JIBE I was helping Van assemble his buggies. I found that even though it seemed very narrow his bigfoot was just right for me with my harness on. I think because I said it is an awesome buggy I should be one of his team riders and get a wicked good discount!!!! Just kidding or am I?
But it is a great buggy real comfy and I bet a smooth ride(I didn't ride it) Next time I will.

Oooooooo... Me too, me too!!!!

Van both your bugs you brought to JIBE were awesome,... Unfortunately I didn't try either one out... Come back next year so I can try out whatever you cook up!!!

Team Rider,... Yes please !!!!

Well now, I cant make you two team riders if you didnt even ride tbe buggy. Lol. If you would have ridden it, that would have qualified you automatically.

:D

I have demoed most of Van's buggies and I find them to be on par with Libre buggies. I can't wait for his backwards buggy.

I rode the snot out of both of those buggies. Comfortable, sturdy, HOOJ improvements over the first couple generations for sure. I felt as smooth and secure at 40mph as I felt at 10 mph. Very nice buggies indeed. The seats were well constructed and stylish. I have to say I was impressed!

RE: VTT Team Rider
There are several factors that make everyone who owns a VTT bug a team rider
- Vans EXTREME generosity when it comes to pricing on parts and accessories.
- He is always experimenting and upgrading so each bug is unique/ a prototype. This spring it took us three rounds of phone calls and emails for me to get the measurements of the standard fork and downtube to him so he could make a Bigfoot fork for it as he could not remember what measurements he had used
- he asks for, receives and responds to user feedback on all of his equipment with regard to development and evolution of the brand and product.

DRAT,... DRAT I SAY!!!!

Though is it not true that I have the ORIGINAL Stinger rails?!?!?!

rocfighter - 29-5-2013 at 06:25 AM

Van I will see you at the Fall WBB and I plan to fulfill that obligation :D. BTW TheKidd rode the crap out of the one he has for about 5 hrs. last Saturday. It held up great and he was pushing it hard. Jumps, bumps, and sliding on asphalt. Thanks again he really appreciates it.
By the way I would have ridden the big foot but Mougl was in it all the time:P

mougl - 29-5-2013 at 02:41 PM

I wasn't in it ALL the time

I took the stinger race (black one on bf) for about an hour. Had the stinger (yellow on discs) for 2-3 hours. Again, they held up well considering I typically ride hard! Tracked very well and nice solid feel. :)

Agree with all the above. Working with Van was great. It was a nice surprise to get pic updates as the build progressed knowing the buggy was being made just for me. Makes owning one more special than a mass produced buggy IMHO. His seats are just spectacular too. I have a less than stellar lumbar, and his seat gives me the ability to cruise around all day with comfort.

VTT buggies are well worth the price and wait during build time.
Thank you again Van.
Like the others......
Team Rider? Yes please   ;)

Gotta agree Van's the best. Maybe one day I'll even figure out how to post a pic

pyro22487 - 10-3-2014 at 02:49 AM

I have road his buggies and helped him assemble a few. OKC team rider needed Van??? I know one or two that would gladly accept the offer.

TheKidd's VTT prototype buggy is back together and ready to be put to some more testing at WBB. Though you can't one of this style buggy the new ones are way better.
