No more walks of shame :)

I was out for 4 hours last night and I didn't have to walk back upwind once :)

Sure I lost ground downwind often through crashing and messing up at stuff in general but was always able to get it back by riding instead of walking or body dragging.

Pulled off 50% of my sliding turns neatly, even managed a heel to toeside carving turn. I'm finally feeling like i can actually kite surf :)

It was a super smooth 30kts and 7.5m kite so the amount of power and fast kite response did cover up a lot of poor technique but I'm definately getting there :)

Kite surfing is awesome :)

haha, like it :)

I was out yesterday in light winds and its way harder to make ground upwind! occaisonally it would pick up to 16kts or so and I would get some great runs but mostly it was down at 12/13 and i kept having to head downwind to build my speed back up.

Then my footstrap popped while I was trying a turn and of couse I was at least 500m away from my tools at the end of a long outward tack.

A long body drag and a longer walk later i scewed it back on & continued flying but it will teach me not to say things like "no more walks of shame" :)
