Hey, I have a few things to sell and I know people tend to swap/sell used gear at events so I figured I'd start a thread that would maybe connect
folks at JIBE. This way we can keep the list growing and folks can refer to it during the event and find each other during the week. Maybe even have
an area by the Kite Fort that people can display used stuff for sale/swap. If you want to leave it there, just label it somehow with phone number,
owner's name etc. If I have room, I'll bring a couple folding tables that we can use. Leave small stuff at your own risk, but there is almost always
someone hanging out at the Fort.
I'll start the list:
Dakine Hawaii Storm Seat Harness XL (36-38"), with spreader bar, Never been in water, still stiff, used maybe 6 times. $75 OBO
If I'm outta line on any prices, let me know--It's been a long time since I've bought anything new so I'm not sure of pricing anymore for comperable
stuff...tridude - 21-4-2013 at 06:43 PM

I am looking for a Reactor II. U2U sent.
Was there much of a change between the Reactor and Reactor II?
Good luck with the chemo. I went through 5 months of that back in 2000. I can't complain.Proletariat - 21-4-2013 at 10:12 PM
Gah! That sucks, Tridude. Best of luck.
I'll be bringing a few things for sale also:
2007 Best Waroo 13m in fantastic shape RTF - $300
Peter Lynn Guerilla 18m RTF with a garbage bag (not literally, the bag just sucks). This kite has been around, but flies great and can get you going
in 5mph winds (on land). $200.
Also considering selling an 8m Cabrinha Switchblade 2 KO, but I seem to have misplaced it. I'm increasingly becoming convinced that it was stolen. If
not, I might sell it due to overlap with my depower modded blade IV.acampbell - 22-4-2013 at 04:44 AM
Great thread. Some have asked me but all are welcome to buy, sell or barter at JIBE. This includes other dealers or distributors.
I am about to post a bunch of stuff, too.flyguy0101 - 22-4-2013 at 04:47 AM

Reactor II is faster but less forgiving about brake line tension. Original Reactor could be flown by anybody that could fly a basic foil like a
Hornet or Beamer, but the II requires some finesse.
When you get it wrong with the Reactor II the kite lets you know with puckering of the bottom skin around the bridle attachment points and sluggish
stalling behavior. But when you relax the brakes for a moment you are rewarded with a surge that will surprise you. Then when you are moving, you
can do anything you want with the brakes.knkmannthey - 22-4-2013 at 05:07 AM
Peter Lynn Hornet 3.0 3m SOLD
For Sale a used Peter Lynn Hornet 3.0 3m. This is a very crispy kite. The is a little bit of lite staining on the white part of the lite but nothing
major. it has only been flown about 10 times mostly in very light wind. It comes complete with backpack, handles, lines, stake, and original manuals.
Ask for $180 with shipping but and open to offers. This a great flying kite for a beginner.

I just bought a Blokart, so JIBE will be the test to see how I do with the big Revs and the buggy, and if I really need both a buggy and the Blokart.
If I end up thinking the Blokart is all I need, the following will be for sale:
Flexi Navarro buggy, all stainless, SOLID construction, $525
Revolution Power Blast 2-4 red and white with reinforced TE, 100' line and handles, $300
Revolution Power Blast 4-8 all white, barely flown at all, with 100' lines and handles, $400
Cobra Kites Sky Tiger foil, 4.0 size (I think) with 75' lines and handles, excellent shape, $100
Prism Stylus 2.8 foil with 75' lines and handles, excellent shape, $100
I would like to hang onto the kites if the buggy doesn't sell.
Please note that this stuff will all be at JIBE, but may go back home with me, depending on my experience with it up there.

Edit: SOLD!
I would like to move a Peter Lynn Twin Skin Control bar at JIBE. My asking price is $230. The TS bar is like the Navigator with these exceptions:
1) The top line is a V, not a Y.
2) The flag out line runs through the center line of the bar and up about 5 meters on one of the top lines.
3) The adjustable stopper is a single rubber lug that interlocks with the bar instead of the more common two-piece stopper.

Good point, Snake, we should compare those notes. I just flew her yesterday and she was amazing. She even turned great using my 65cm bar! Also, I
think I finally figured out that someone tried putting a TET mod on this one. I'll send you pics. I'd gladly own another one (GII maybe?)... Anyway,

Philiptridude - 27-4-2013 at 02:11 PM

That buggy price can be negotiamanated so shoot me sum offers..........same same for the two 4 meters........the Bego has been flown 5 times.....the
Blade IV equally CHERRY.........again Im either on the aqua or playin golf so the buggy and foils gotta go..........
The Allison longboard is awesome and a great way to learn and is good in head high waves.........keep in mind this is a longboard not a paddle
board.........colors and scheme are custom............the only one of its kind..........
Etrex GPS can go separate or with da bugg which ever comes first..........

Angus...whatcha gonna post? tridude - 28-4-2013 at 08:02 PM
Buggy, Blade, and Bego are sitting and need to go............bug is in great condition and the two 4 meters are mint............Nfish - 28-4-2013 at 09:07 PM
Well, I don't think I'll use my pansh ace's ever again (FB scares me); and I know they are budget kites, not beginner friendly either (although I
started on the 3m, lol)
So, I'll trade both of my 3m and 4.5m for a good <=2m 4-line kite, or a etrex, or a landboard... I have the original handles and lines as well.
They are in good conditions. 3M has a small tear aid repair; 4.5m is like new -only flown twice. I'll accept cash as well of course ($100 ko )
Let me know if interested, feel free to try them out as well at jibe. Drewculous - 29-4-2013 at 11:36 AM

6.5m Peter Lynn Twister 180$ OBO
I'll be there Wed - Sun (I'm local).
I am also looking for a wave/freeride pump kite size 11-13mvan - 29-4-2013 at 09:25 PM
Ok.. just found this upstair ... one of the earlier Stinger forks I made. It will fit a BF light tire. Comes with foot pegs also. It is just
painted with POR-15 rust proofing right now.
This is a good piece to use on your DIY buggy.
$70.. dirt cheap. Retails for $195.
I've had many ask if it will fit the flexi / PL buggy. Yes and No. The headstock it was design for is about 1/4" shorter than PL. It just worked
out that way. I didn't plan it.. haha. It will fit if you grind down your mushroom adaptor. The proper way to do this if you want it for your flexi
or PL is to also get the SWAN NECK downtube. The VTT downtube will fit your rails and also fit the VTT fork. Using your existing downtube doesn't
make sense if you are gonna put BF on it anyways. I can make a good deal on a swannie downtube if you purchase this fork.
put it in my hand and its hard for me to say no....
Oh yea ---HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
still not sure how it went... A bit fuzzy... You gave me cookies, led me into the camper... Lowered the shades and shut the door... And 10 mins later
I was out cash and had a kite... Pretty sure you drugged the cookies
The 12 is coming back! Got its hole patched too! I really want to stack some phannies this year!tobytobsen - 30-4-2013 at 12:29 PM
Komine Extreme Knee-Shin Protector 50$ OBO
Just used 1 time - they are too small for my legs and did not fit.
JIBE is an excellent opportunity for you to try them. They are made for BMX / Downhill and offer protection for the knee and the shin.

I was told by my wife tonight that we have to pick up some things from a family member on the way home from Jibe. Here is my problem, I dont have the
room for it.
My problem is your big opportunity. I need to make room in my truck and the only way to do that is to sell the stuff in the back of the truck at an
unbelievable cheap price.
I plan to give some stuff away, so the more I sell the more I will give away. That way we all win. I unload the truck, you get fantastic deals, and
the wife is happy.

Angus donated a brand new Buster Soulfly Pro 3.3m to be auctioned off for $1.00 a ticket. The money will be donated to the turtle center. If you want
to win a kite, buy a ticket. If you want to help the turtles, buy a ticket. Then buy a ticket to win a kite.
We we will draw the winner Friday at 5pm.
find Big Kid and tell Jeff you need a bunch of tickets.bigkid - 10-5-2013 at 12:35 AM
I have had such a great time here that I want to help out with the turtles myself.
I will donate 10% to the turtles,
kite stakes, shirts, caps, hats, sand bags, harnesses, 3m kites (of all makes, models and some are NEW and others are hardly used), Apexx buggy and
buggy rack to carry it home, and a few new or used Flexboardz.
All the unbearably cheep offers will be considered but remember the turtles.........van - 10-5-2013 at 05:44 AM
