It was killing me all day at work knowing my new baby was going to be delivered.
Flexifoil Bullet 2.5
Yes, a little old of a model, but this thing is super crispy and in 99.9% perfect shape!! I hope to give this a spin this weeking.
Just wanted my baby to meet the family

Have one just like it, and his brothers. Love em

I have the same kite too, but in purple. I wouldn't sell or trade my Bullet for anything. I really wish I had a 3.5 Bullet too but prolly not going to happen as I already have kites in 3.5 and 3.9 sizes. I love the Bullet because they are much less tame than the Rages. Lots of power but twitchy in a good way, as in fun, fun, fun, and fast. I really do love my Bullet, in fact I never fly my 2.5 Rage anymore now come to think of it because I think the Bullet is just way more fun. I'm flying my Bullet on 25M lines though, so it really can build some oomph...

Great pick-up! Go fly it, have fun, and tell us what you think of it...

Ooooohhhh.... deja vu. This is like when Beamerbob was keeping track of goofball's purchases.... ;)

or when everyone was tracking Kamikuza's purchases.

But........
they call to me in a strange language......

Picked up the HQ two summers ago.
Picked up the Flow 3m last fall (that's when the sickness started).

So, that makes 3 kites in 3 months...... since we are keeping official score.

The other three are are all pre-owned, so I saved major $$ :singing:.
Oh, don't forget the 1.4 Symphony I bought my daughter a few weeks ago at OBX.

Those are great little kites...Don't be mis-led by some of the older kites that they are no longer making...some of them happen to be the best little engines in the world.....(makes us wonder why they stop producing them) ex. bullets, vipers, etc.

Bladerunner - 17-4-2013 at 06:04 PM

The little engine that could !

Loved my old 4.5 and 7m combo. 2.5 would have made for a sweet quiver.

:bigok:

I agree. my Bullet is a much nicer machine than the rage.

I think the PL Venom is another classic that you wonder why they didn't carry on with. I havn't tried any really new Arcs but the Venom was much better than the synergy and phantom 1's that i have flown. maybe not as user friendly but definately better.

Same with the Blade. they should have stopped at the 3rd version.

I suppose kite manufacturers are under pressure to make their products accessible to as many people as possible so aggressive kites will always get dumbed down a bit.

Wow :wow:! I love my Rage!!!! I really can't wait to take the bullet for a spin now!!!!! :wee: :wee: :wee:

Well, I did take the new to me Bullet out for a spin today. However the wind was horrible. Swirling, dying, gusts, etc. I had such high hopes of running the buggy's maiden voyage this afternoon. Tried every kite I had, and only managed about 100' of total travel in two hours!!!!!. It was a pitiful sight. Oh well.

I can tell this little Bullet is going to be a great kite. Tugs pretty good, and was super fast when it did catch a breeze IMHO. Turns on a dime too. I thought it was also very cool to see the gray body has a purple iridescent when the sun hits it. Truly as nice too look at, as it is to fly.
I am satisfied.
Not so much with the wind Gods today though.

Yeah, having your back to the trees tells me the wind is gonna be all over the place. The dream ride will happen eventually but it'll never come soon enough..

Oh crap. Someone is keeping track? Well, my kite "trades" (as I like to call them) were all for a friend. I don't have a problem and can stop anytime I want. That being said, does anyone wanna buy a 13m Waroo so I can buy Van's buggy (which, I'd like to point out, is NOT a kite.)?

Yeah. I knew it was going to be a wash before I even went. 99% of the time it never blows from that direction. But, because I wanted to buggy so badly, well........

Heck, the wife rolled the buggy under a tree and took a knap in it. She was actually kicked back in it when she snapped this picture. LOL

Not a total loss. Got to spend some quality time with her and my two girls in some really nice weather at the playground.
