Hello fellow DBBB attendees. I will be attending the 2006 DBBB and plan on bringing with me a home built 3 wheel buggy. I myself like to kiteboard and
have no need for the buggy. It was given to me and I want to give it to someone at the DBBB. I figured this would be the best event to find a beginner
kite enthusiast who needs a good buggy.

Thanks. I am sure there will be someone in attendance that will be glad to get the buggy.

Troy,
Thank you for such kind generosity! I’m sure this will make somebody very happy. Look forward to meeting you at dead bird :tumble:

Never tried a buggy myself, but would love to try one. Mountainboard riding is how I've been cruising the sand when at the beach. I'll bring my
Kitesurfing gear too when I come down, which will prolly be the friday-sunday time frame.

Welcome one and all.

Man, too bad it's soo far, after the SOBB, I'm wanting some more.
Hope to have some pics soon

Hey everyone thanks for the posts. It looks like several people are interested in this buggy. I hope to get some pics up so everyone can see it. I
have spoken with several people about this buggy. I will have the buggy with me at the event as I said before. If enough people want this buggy then I
will have to informally raffle it off (for free).

That is a good idea about the raffle for the home built buggy. It could be the high light of the event for someone.

The buggy was given away at the 2006 Dead Bird Buggy Bash in Galveston, TX.
Thanks for all your help Susan and to all of those who wrote to me wanting it. I hope the recipient enjoys the buggy and passes on the favor to
another.

... I was the one who picked up this buggy... and it got my feet wet into buggies, and I was hooked.
Since then, I've gone out and got a Flexi buggy for me and a PL for the wife. So.... to continue the DBBB tradition, I'll have to pass this one on
for the same price that I got it for.
Free, Gratis, No Charge...
I go to SLP at least twice a month, if anyone wants to try it out... lemme know and I'll bring it down.
GulfSandEater - 27-8-2007 at 02:06 PM
Taper,
I meant to ask you about your buggy yesterday at SLP. I'm very much interested, as I'm just about set to learn to buggy. Maybe you'd be willing to
offer me some gratis lessons?!

I was riding around in the Flexifoil bug then... but when your comfortable with the kite and want to try one... come on over and have a seat in one
and roll around a bit. I'll dust off the free one in the garage if you want to play with it as well... The pic TDFurr posted shows exactly what the
free one looks like. A kayak type seat, and welded frame with tires. Not a speed demon, but something to play with and have a good time on.
Although my windsurfer would be awful lonely in the garage if this went... Getting about time for an Ebay garage sale. (for the windsurfer... the
bugs free)

Thanks Steve for passing along the favor to others looking to get into kite buggying. From the way it looks this buggy was good for you since you now
have two.
Sorry I will not be able to attend this years DBBB, I hope all of you have fun and let there be good winds for all.
Until next time.
