What are these little guys for?

Excuse my newness but these little guys were in the box with the kite and I dont know what to use them for.

Came with my Peter Lynn Xplore

I have not had an explore in my hands, but I will take a stab at this and say they are elastic bands to hold lines on bar so that it does not unravel.

Indeed, that's probably what they are, "nice" rubber bands to keep the lines taut after wrapping up on the bar.

Usually, on a kite bar, at the ends, there will be one hole at the end of the bar where the lines attach to the bar, and a smaller hole for elastic if the bar uses them. Usually the mounts for these elastics are on the bottom corners of the bar at the bottom of the 'horns', when line attachments are up on the 'horn' tips. On my ozone bars, they are mounted inside the same holes as the leader knots on the bar, and are mostly hidden.

Look for a place on the ends of the bar that could possibly accept feeding the loop through, while preventing the stitched part from traveling through the same hole.

They are actually the bottom part of earrings for your girlfriend or wife. ( you need to supply the gold/silver clips ).

These now come with all new equipment purchases, so you have a gift immediately on-hand to explain why you just spent the money you did on "another" kite.....

this could be the best answer yet.

That said I know about the line keepers on the bar, they are already in there and not really replaceable. I suppose I could throw them over the ends and towards the middle but dont really see a need to do that.

Spare parts for the future I guess.

If I had to guess I would say they are for when you wrap your lines around the bar, Then you would put them over the ends the bar to keep the lines from coming loose

These are typically used on the Peter Lynn Base harnesses to hold all the straps and belt in a tidy bundle.

I had to switch out a spreader bar on one yesterday and removed two of same in order to unravel the package.

that makes sense. The Xplore discovery pack comes with a base harness, however, Big Mike's Kites hooked me up with a radical instead.
I think I could put those to use in another way for sure.
