The Rev forum is down for maintenance or I would have asked this there.
Is there a Revolution kite suitable for power (buggy) use that is smaller than the Power Blast 2-4?
I was static flying my 2-4 last night in winds that were really too high (on the gusts) and getting slammed around quite a bit.
Maybe the regular Blast model or another you could suggest?
Thanks!

for me the rule of thumb is the kite will need to be powerful enough to make me scud about 10-15 feet in order to have enough power to buggy with. the
2-4 blast should be a great engine even in higher winds.
static and buggy flying is not the same, as one will be too much while the same one will not be enough, understand? if it is too much to static fly
then chances are that same kite is ok for the buggy.

Gotcha.
Thanks for the education!
I haven't been in a buggy for about 8 years, and never with a Rev as an engine, so this is all new territory to me.
Can't wait for JIBE! :-)

i have lots of Rev from RevII to RevI and the Shockwave.
i have scudded/body dragged (on land) tonnes with the Shockwave and buggied with it.
*some folks use/swap in shorter lines with a kite to decrease power instead of downsizing kite size.

The "Blast" is a step smaller than the 2-4. The Shockwave & Supersonic is another step down from there although they were not "really" designed
for buggying (I have used both in a buggy and they rock).

I have thought of trying out my Blast 3-stack in the bug. Need to make up some train lines for them still though.
