der montana question
was wondering about a montana3 7.0m as far as useful wind range for a rider 220lbs? as well as a reasonable price RTF for kite that is in vg-vvg
condition? Anything that should deter me from purchasing it if price is right ie safety issues, flight characteristics, newer models worth the xtra
$$. Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Every version has had improvements but the III was the first one that was a really good kite. For your size, you would need 15 mph winds to start
getting some power. skills could take you into the upper 20s with that size.

Thanks Bob... going too take closer look this week.. 225 reasonable?

Yes, thats a great kite for $225. You'd have to double that or more to get a few versions newer. You could fly it for a year and get your money back
most likely.

BB is spot on...........the Montana's beginning with the 3 series is where the fun begins........we flew the proto at JIBE back in 07 and was leaps
and bounds better than the M2............stable and quite lifty in 15 mph winds as I recall.....upwind no problem on the land board (I did not buggy
at the time) but without a doubt buggy friendly too (you can always control the lift/turn speed with a depow).......great price..........go for
it......
