Looks like some major lake effect snow is going to bring up to
4 feet of snow to Tug
Can anyone from that area confirm this? Most of the Northeast
has been struggling with finding consistent places to ride so far
this winter
I haven't seen any condition reports being posted on here and
don't want to travel 4 hours for marginal conditions
Any recommendations for clean, dog friendly places to stay out
there?

Its dumping yesterday and today south and south west of Tug Hill , Big Bay on the west end of Oneida has 2' on it (but quite possibly crap ice
underneath), today most of it is expected to blow off the lake. If any of it sticks Sylvan beach at the east end will be good all the n/s direction
and at least 2miles out to the west. On Sunday , Lewis point had a small area of open water in front of it and in the middle I'm guestimating 2miles
(it may have been more, 2mi. is conservative) west of Sylvan beach there was big open water. I'm going to try to get to Sylvan beach Thursday morning
, more detailed report at that time. No idea about dog friendly places to stay.

www.weatherbug.com , has Sandy Creek and Turin web cams. Ridgeview Lodge in Lowville has one at the lodge. www.oneidalakeview.com has a view from the north shore of Oneida Lake. I should be at Sylvan Beach Oneida Lake tomorrow morn. if all goes
according to plan ,will have update here in the evening. I've got Jaymz # I'll give him a call too.
In the snow depth map from above you can expand the heavier snow to include areas south to Oneida lake and east to Rome and everything in a line to
Oswego
