heading to Granite Peak in Wausau to ski with the family... anyone snowkite in the area? Looking for a spot where I might be able to sneak away for
a couple hours....

I tried to find a place there once and did not succeed.
WI people love their trees too much. Not enough open area.
(in-laws live 30m North in Tomahawk and mother-in-law had a bead store in Wausaw.)

I am in Appleton. There are spots here but too far away.
G00fba11 might know but he is over near Hudson.
