Gin Eskimo help (all set now)

B-Roc - 16-12-2012 at 07:07 PM

I emailed files on Gin Eskimo I and II bridle tuning and 5th line setup (from the old Mango Jelly site) to someone on this forum that was trying to get a II series to fly better. My hard drive crashed and I lost those files. If the person I sent those files too happens to still have them and reads this, I would greatly appreciate them being sent back to me.

Thanks

I would be interested in a copy of this if it is found.

Thanks

Thanks !

The Esk ' has one creative bridle system ! ? !

Eskimo proved it's place in the pack this Christmas. Stuck poaching a small farmers field. The Aurora on 25m lines needed tuning + more space. The EsS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K- on 18m lines RULED !

The horses next door seemed more amazed by the Aurora but it was 1st up. Still they enjoyed the show and followed me all day!

The EsS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K- seems to take a different approach to launching. Sort of lift , turn and fly ? Tugging front lines only for too long seems to tug B + C too strong? I see how this will be great when jumping but it makes for a change of approach on launch. Anybody else notice they launch different in extreme low wind than other kites?

B-Roc - 28-12-2012 at 02:43 PM

I haven't noticed that they launch different just that it takes more effort but it is a 14m so that's a lot of sail to fill and get aloft. Once its up, its a dream. Great pop and float.
