Always loved the Rage Acid scheme and since trading mine off have often thought about reacquiring some. This will do for now. The thing is huge!
Curious if everyone else finds the same thing but this kite smells pretty bad. I remember the "bouquet" that Dieter's Adam had but he said it was from
Seaside waters. I dunno...something smells pretty funky with this kite. Maybe some seam glue or the coating they use?
Anyway, looks OK. Nothing out of the ordinary with the fabric....I half thought it might be like that silky kite D had out at SOBB 2011 but it's not.
Just normal ripstoppy looking. Pulleys don't look all that fantastic but for the price I'm not about to complain about things like that. I still
doubted the transaction would go without a hitch and was sure I'd receive TWO kites but nope...all three, all custom.

Ahhh, smells like China! Everytime I open a box fresh off the boat/plane from China, it's always got a funky odor.
I would imagine in this case it's the coating.
Looks great, can't wait to see the reviews.

Interesting !
The website talks about light fabric ? I was expecting either the stuff the Flux is made with or the ultra light material Kiteboyza showed us in his
race kite.
I'm intersted in how they got around Flysurfers patent on the dual air inlet ? Not shocked that the pulleys are cheap.
Now get yours in the air and mine in the mail! :P

Had to unfold a bit of the black ones to see which tip was which colour so I can report that the black material does have a bit more of a "something
good" about it. Kinda slippery looking. And didn't smell as bad as the white. Odd. Or I'm used to it?
They'll get boxed up, labeled and mailed out tomorrow morning. Sitting under a couple dictionaries right now compressing the air out

Glad you did that ! I would have felt odd suggesting my materail was different .
Please feel free to open it more if you want to compare . I have a real nose for funky smells. If mine has it you can be sure I'll notice.

Haven't had a chance yet but will hopefully get a bar put together this week and give it a whirl. Got a bit of breathing room on my hands this week.

flew one this weekend- alright here is a little more info on the 15m, we recieved ours in the us last week and i had a chance to fly it on saturday
in light winds on a PL 07 bar, i disconnected the 5th line bridle set and flew it on my regular 4 lines with the left rear being the flag out (not
sure if it actually works since did not have enough wind to try it) initial thoughts- not bad was unable to get a real feel for the depower since was
flying static and in order to launch had to have the trim strap all the way out to even get it to launch once in the air was alright turned like a pig
and reminded me of my montana 2, had a tendency to collapse, invert, or jellyfish every time it got to the edge of the window- again only flew it
static in shifty light winds. issues about build- deflate zippers are hard to find and are on the bottom skin so somewhat of a pain when packing up,
as well velcro blowout is also on the bottom skin. pulleys are very cheap- if get it flying well will change. lastly is the "closed cell" it
appears that the intake vents are great for inflating but do not appear to have any way to act as one way vents so unless kite is moving pressure is
not held in the kite
sorry for the ramble its early
