I have a 17m Bomba that I really like. The Bomba turns a bit slow but is super floaty..... It launches quite easy......

If it looks good in the pics and is in good condition that is not a bad price on an RTF kite....... does it come with the bag and spars also????

The bar you can use with other arcs also.

Great first Arc.

Talked to the guy and he says kite is in great shape. Comes with pack, spars and a Cabrina bar. He was asking 200 for the kite 300 with the bar added. Seems resonable. He says great beginner kite.. Like you guys stated it likes being in the air and I figured autozenith is a good thing for me.. Can I use this in the water?(added) I'm 210lbs..Winds are usually gusty. Small lake kind of waves..

If you're not in a hurry you can probably nab a newer model Venom for about the same price, maybe $50 or $75 more? Nothing wrong with the Bombas though - and to me they are right there with the original Phantoms in terms of graphic appeal IMO. The good old days ; )

For me the Bomba is like this big flying catapillar, best light wind kite in the PL line ,lots of grunt and easy to manage in light winds, as the wind speed increases it starts to live up to its name Bomba as in explosive. Love my 15 but have yet to take it above 15mph as it gets real powerfull and kinda lifty and don't really want to be one of those guy's in the utube vids being lofted 100ft + great 1st arc just don't tie it down and don't fly in high wind to start

Been kicking around that idea too macboy. Seems a few reviews on the Bomba say its slow. Not the case with the Venom. Thats one complaint the Bomba owner told me is that he snow skis with it and cant get the lift with it that he would like. You parting with your Venom any time soon mac!!. ;)

@eggy...... I may be missing something here, but did you state what size the Bomba is????

eggy - 7-3-2012 at 08:50 PM

Approx. 2003 kite. Slow, and not too good for upwind on water. 10.5m was the pick of the litter. I had 10.5m Bonba and 16m Venom. Good stable quiver for wave riding.

I wish todays kites looked that good!

13m was a good size ! Fast and large enough to do some damage to a beginner if not carefull
At 200lbs, 150Mako Wide and using 55cm bar on 30m lines downwind was possible in 12knts, upwind maybe 16knt (large sine).
10knts upwind on grass.
Just need to remember depower on these is only about 70% !!!
