Have any of you successfully stacked arcs....? I know most have seen the photo of the stacked Phannies. They only did three. Rich (SHMH) and I were kicking around the possibilities of a SOOPASTACK with a full quiver !! :wee:

Think it can be done....??? :puzzled:
What order to stack 'em...???
What length extensions....???

Way to spill the beans on making you famous Rich...

Details found in the ARC Bible

It's all good! that was a cool video, but we are talking a full stack! Now I am even more convinced we can do it!

you need to do it with a full quiver of the old phantoms and with a full set of new phantoms right next to each other

Flexiblade and I stacked a 9 and 12 at SOBB in 2010. We stacked the 12 on top and the 9 on bottom but the 9 flew too fast. We reversed it and it worked better. If I were to do it again I would makes some adjustment pigtails on the rear lines with many knots so it could be tuned better between the kites.
The video is on my youtue site.

Get out of my head!

I was discussing this very topic with Sheska today! Would be awesome to see!

16/13....large on top, smaller below

the trick is to depower the top larger kite to speed it up. if all the kites rigged the same. you just go up a knot closer to the kite to depower it.

run all up about four inches on the front leaders. it only will fly and turn as fast as the TOP kite depowered. bout 8-10mph

What PHREE said. Plus shorter stack lines also help to stiffen and sync things up. I used 3m lines on my 15/10 G2 stack and got it to the point of freakishly in sync.

That's with a 21m lineset too.

put the smallest in the rear / last ... it will act as an anchor for stability

joking :P

The fact that it can be done, and that there is discussion about it being done just once again illustrates just how unique and amazing arcs really are IMO.
