As a parent who loves to kite with his kids...... I just can't imagine this.....endangering a child.....and others......
It is obvious to me that they did not cover any safety training with the boy.......

I recently saw an instructor teaching a kid in Boracay. I can tell you that the instructor was having a hard time with that kid... the kid was not
doing anything right. He crashed his kite into another kiters kite so that instructor had to run out in the water to assist the kid. The instructor
took the kite and they went back to the beach where the instructor wanted to launch the kite while the kid was assisting by holding the kite. But the
kid let go off the kite way to early before the instructor had done the thumb up sign... I remember the instructor yelling at the kid "are you crazy
man!!!"
