So it snowed last night. The first time all year. It is also my first day of staring day shift. So I have to go to be at work at 10am. So to the field I go for a couple of hours to try out what I learned from the pass the how to snow kite video.

Well a couple of hours became one hour as my hands started to freeze. Good gloves on my list of gear needing to buy. I lost feeling is 5 finger tips 3 on one hand and 2 on the other. Now on to the odd part My fingers are frozen but I get over heated. That is an odd sensation feeling like you need to vomit and yet so cold you can't feel your finger tips. All in all the wind was gusty cold and turbulent, But I had a GREAT time got another fix of kiting and soon its going to be NABX time.WOOP WOOP KITE LOOP.

p.s. where did that phrase come from.

I wear a thin fleese gloves inside my big Ice Armor mittens , hardly ever get cold hands. Also as best you can set the depower so you can maintain a loose grip on the bar , white knuckle flying is very cold on the fingers.

lol i fly everything in the cr@p cold..... winters have such god awful wind around here, when i get a chance to fly i take it... i use a thinsulate liner and mech gloves, and im good for a couple hours... wet snow can suck, im always on the hunt for warm/thin/waterproof gloves

I think Rip started the woop whoop... he used it a lot anyway
