Since I meeting a lot kiters lately I notice one thing that dose not make me happy .........
There is many off us who don't where helmets on land .......
As most snowboarders and skiers know that there is a saying that only beginners are riding with no head protection ...... and most of time is
true.... When I started snowboarding it was something that I did not think off..... after first major crash .... I was first in line for new
helmet .....
When I look at kitting community ..... that statement is not really true ...... and yet ... sport is probably more dangerous .... there is many
kiters that do tricks and speed runs with no protecting helmet ....... I know many of them are kiteboraders that play on snow in winter and did not
run to painful crashes on land ..... Its hard to watch guy with 19m Flysurfer and ATB crashing few times with hi head inches from single rock on
sandy beach .....
...... so .... what I am saying ....... friends don't let friends drive drunk ......... Kiters should not let kiters fly with no helmet
........ and you know there are exceptions ...... so don't point my pictures where my helmet is not on my head ...lol.....
.....

I wear a helmet even in the water. First time I tried kiteboarding I thought, who needs a helmet for water. I got lofted before I got in the water
and was praying I landed in deep enough water so I didn't get hurt. I have hit my head multiple times on botched landings and was grateful for the
helmet. I even wear hillbilly pants on land cause I am getting old.
I have been wearing my red trace helmet for snowkiting and have been really happy with it. It felt narrow at first but feels fine now and is plenty
warm. Earpads come ready for headphones too.

I feel naked without a helmet on while doing any of my boardsports. It bugs me even more when you see sponsored pros not wearing one. Its like they
are driving home the message that you don't need to wear one so no one does. If I ran a company like that, I would require the riders to always wear
helmets when kiting, or riding. If they didn't I would pull sponsorship. They always are looking for better safety systems to help get away from a
kite in the event something is going wrong, but often the worst incidents happen when everything is working the way it should. Protect your melon
people, cause its the only one you have.

I never ride without one! Be it Mt biking or kiting, I guess I was lucky enough to have good role models when I was younger. Actually I forget it's
even there after I put it on. It's a shame that many don't think about this when engaging in dangerous activities.

I wear a helmet and feel naked without it too. Although my reason for buying one initially was after seeing a video of me with the wind blowing my
floppy hair into a Hitler style parting.
I'll wear just a baseball cap on low wind summer days in the park however.

helmet for kiteboarding ..... I probably should get that too......
+1 on shaggy suggestion for team riders ....... It will be good example for others if pro start showing that is cool to be protected ....
... and yes .... light wind days where there is no power in kite would be exception in my case too sometimes ..... still ..... is always there
when kite starts pulling ....

I feel naked without my helmet as well. +1 as well for pros wearing helmets all the time as well. I watch all the youtube videos of kids wrecking
their boards on concrete and getting knocked out. Then they show another video two months later still no helmet.

It takes a village...to raise a village idiot....wear a helmet!
..And friends don't let drunk friends kite without a helmet
...And i think all drunk people should be wearing a helmet...just drinking....... in case they fall down drunk... :wee:
...and if we have airbags in a car in case of crash... why not where a helmet driving your car...?
  I wear a helmet during sex................:o
