Revolution Kite

titanflyer - 23-12-2011 at 04:06 PM

Hi everyone,

I have gone out about 4 times now here in charlotte nc, and the winds are just not cooperating with me. There is a breeze, but not much more, and I am not allowed to take out my brand new Crossfire II 5.0 m until after christmas (wife found out I bought it for myself).

I did some searching online, and a lot of reading, and have a hankering for a revolution kite as they seem to fly in pretty low wind like I am seeing here. So, if anyone has one of these in the closet, either now or after santa brings a new toy, let me buy it from you. I really would like to go out at lunch and fly something, and these look like they are pretty technical and fun...both up my alley.

Just U2U me if you have one... either way, everyone have a great holiday and a MERRY CHRISTMAS.. ya, I said it.. come and get me politically correct police.

Titan,
Make sure to hit up Dakitez and talk about your typical winds. Just like our power kites, Different model Rev's need a certain amount of wind to fly. If you winds are under 5mph you may need a SUL model, but Dakitez will know what will suit you best.:bigok:

both of the 1.5sle also come with the ul spars so its like having 2 kites in one. I just do not sale many revs so its time for me to clean house. I dropped them below cost just so I do not have to inventory them at the end of the year.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the responses.. interesting. I will either pick one of those up or I will possibly hold off and buy a power blast if one shows up. I realize these aren't necessarily the top starter model, but hey, I love growing into things and spoke with some of the experts about it and they thought I would be fine. I will give it a little more time to see if anyone has something used in that model, or I will buy the one from Dakitez. Some awesome news at my company will make cash-flow capabilities much easier to convince my wife of, so we will see.
