Kober , Lake Placid in the Adirondacks might have early ice and snow on the lakes and is a very cool Olympic village.

If you go to the tri-lakes area (saranac, placid) look up PKF member Shoe, if he is still there. I will be posting as soon as conditions are
favorable on the Tug Hill, and I'm sure Pat will post when CNY has good conditions. Bob

Personally, Tug Hill is one of my favorite destinations. And it CAN set up early December, if the weather is right... Totally depends. Bobalooie57

Adirondacks is only 4h away ....... and tourist dedicated website for this town is awesome ..... will fallow the wether for this site
Tug Hill is a must ....... I missed last year .... I will not make that mistake this year
