We supposedly have a storm hitting now, possible snow all the way down here to 500ft in the next couple days.. not holding my breath though, could
snow 2-3" and be gone by nightfall. :-p BUT the Mtns have been getting hammered since yesterday morning!!

Sweet Snow!!!!
the wind's blown most of it in the bush, but even so i think the alberta season may have started!
anyone know what the lake ice is like yet? i've been chopping a hole in the dugout for the cattle for a while now (thank god they can get to eating
snow now)...one of my draft horses walked across the ice the other day, my heart skipped a beat but it held just fine...

Shovelled twice today and will do it again in the morning!
I'm off to check Cooking Lake on Saturday (have a sail club meeting - not taking kites). Let's make sure we get together this winter Mukluk!

Yup it's cold and dumping in Calgary too. Heading out snowshoeing in the Spray valley on Sunday, the forecast is -16C! Can't wait to try kiting, this
will be my first season..

Talked to the Mother-In-Law, apparently Campbell River got somewhere around 8inches in 3 hours....:eekdrull: Its the island though so I doubt it'll
stay for too long. Suppose to feel like -30c here tomorrow. But it looks like the temps are to climb late next week. Lakes will need quite a while to
get thick enough for this guy to feel safe on them. I just want lots of snow so I can get the new frenzy out for a test flight........lines still
aren't even attached
