FS: Flysurfer Outlaws - SOLD

ragden - 11-11-2011 at 01:48 PM

For Sale are my two Flysurfer Outlaw kites. One 8m and one 12m. They were bought brand new from Flysurfer directly (flysurfer-usa.com) the day they first came into stock (Nov 08). They have been well used, and well taken care of. They probably have some sand in in them, but are otherwise in very good condition.

These kites are amazing. They are open-cell and fly wonderfully. I love these kites. However, I spend most of my time kitesurfing these days so these kite are rarely used. I'm looking to revamp my quiver to kites that I can used on land and water. That is the ONLY reason I am selling these kites. Prices are negoatiable.

Package Deal - Buy both, no shipping, and total cost will be $1300.
Seperate them, and shipping will be negotiated.

Flysurfer 8m Outlaw - $800.00
Flysurfer 12m Outlaw - $1,000.00

Really nice kites! Michael can sure make them fly! Great deal on the pair!

B-Roc - 11-11-2011 at 03:21 PM

I'm not interested in the Outlaws but have been considering moving my 10/6 combo to a 12/8 combo like yours. Can you comment on your weight and the range you flew those in?

ragden - 11-11-2011 at 03:52 PM

Sure...
I weight about 185 - 195 depending on what I had for breakfast (i sometimes eat a lot).
I used the 12m while in the buggy if the winds were 8-15mph. Sometimes higher. Depending on how gusty the winds are.
The 8m is 15mph+. I've ridden with the 8m in 30mph winds before and felt okay. If its gusty, it can get scary, otherwise its fine.
Hope that helps.
:)

Nice kites, solid seller

Mike, did you decide on the item you're gonna buy next?

shehatesmyhobbies - 11-11-2011 at 06:30 PM

+1 for Tibi's comment! Love these two kites and would scoop them up myself if I was able to!

It is going to be weird not seeing these things fly at WW , well that is unless someone that buys them is coming!

Good luck with the sale Mike!

JK... Great seller here, wish I could take 'em. Outlaws are great in the buggy...

lad - 11-12-2011 at 07:54 AM

The crazy gusts and lulls were jerking my tiny FBs into a small corner of the Bowl.

Meanwhile Ragden's huge Flysurfers just stuck in the air...sometimes not even seeming to move. Those things always remind me of a low B-52 flyover. He was calmly circuiting the whole field..upwind...downwind...hardly stopping.

Gee, if I knew he had such a package deal on both then, I might have been tempted to make an offer right there!

g00fba11 - 11-12-2011 at 07:56 AM

Come on cheezy use your Jedi mind tricks...... you really need these Outlaws.....

I think he is keeping the 15m ,and THAT is the B-52 overflight machine. :wee: I doubt he would sell that one:shocked2:

ragden - 11-12-2011 at 12:51 PM

Yeah... Only selling the 8m & 12m Outlaws (and there is a package deal on the two). ;)
Keeping the Speeds.
The 8m handled the winds quite nicely yesterday. Though, when it didn't feel like nearly enough, I went and grabbed the 12m S3. I could have flown the 12m Outlaw, but I didnt bring it this time. Would have been a bit punchier (it has more power than the 12m S3), but it would have worked fine, I'm sure.
:)

aronma - 22-12-2011 at 09:32 AM

Hmmmm......I think I'm salivating.

ragden - 22-12-2011 at 09:39 AM

Still for sale if you are interested.
Since you are in Jersey, if you want to setup a time to come demo them, let me know... We can probably meet somewhere in the middle...
;)

shehatesmyhobbies - 22-12-2011 at 11:31 AM

They are sweet kites! Awesome guy to work with as well! Even better guy to have on the beach with you!

aronma - 23-12-2011 at 09:34 AM

Mike, Do these both come with the control bars (if so, which bars do you have)?

ragden - 23-12-2011 at 09:36 AM

They currently have the stock bars attached that they came with.
