Hey ! I'm rebuilding a Blokart and having the frame powdercoated and and I'm gonna get all the cool upgrades but I don't have a line on cool rims. The
stock ones are barrow size but plastic (not sure of the axle size yet) and I want something cooler, maybe aluminum --so where's a good source to buy

check Kent (A wind of Change) and Jon (Kite Buggy Speed Shop)
Does your blocart use a smaller sized hub than a buggy? The outer size of the tire is the same but I thought blocarts had a 6" hub instead of 8" on

Yea, not sure. I never paid attention to the wheels much. I guess I can go up a size on the rims if the Blokart axle fits the rim though. I'm not
going to race it so being class legal doesn't matter to me.
Thanks!jellis - 24-10-2011 at 10:45 AM
Martin Blais found some great looking aluminum rims ($) that fit the BloKarts. The buggy rims are too big and would not work on the front fork. His
company is Bellwetherbanner.rocfighter - 24-10-2011 at 03:55 PM

Im rebuilding a Blokart and I want some hot rod rims to enhance the "safety yellow" powdercoating of the entire frame being done as we speek. Its
gonna need some bling ...djinnzfree - 25-10-2011 at 01:54 AM
