I'm thinkin' really hard about getting a GoPro and I know there's alot of info scattered about the PKF but I for one would certainly benefit from a one stop shop for a category including a few seperate topics to cover equipment, software & editing tips, home made mounting gear and ideas, etc. It seems with the influx of relatively inexpensive Vid Gear these days, it would be a good fit for the PKF now that so many have GoPros or similar and many more people getting that stuff.

Hey was at the local electronics store yesterday - full HD 3D camera's in two flavours and a handheld with flip-out LCD screen that has a projector built into it - good for up to 60" ...! Neato toys :D

Oh cool! Totally OT except that it's electronic coolness ...

The latest in-car GPS navigation systems here have a forward-facing camera and overlay the live video with real-time navigation data eg. lanes, turning markers etc ... also seems able to track other vehicles, suggesting to follow them if they're going your way or displays 'safe' following distance :o

Post vids in the most appropriate category. ex. kite buggying vid in the Kite Buggying category, kite surfing vid in the Kite Surfing category etc.

I think we are asking for more of a "making of videos" forum. To discuss what mounts/gear/software is being used, editing tips and technique.

We do that now, with ideas and good info scattered all over. :rolleyes:

I go to look for something I remember seeing and it could be buried. Gen Chit Chat is where I lurk most but its sort of , well, general...However, I do use the bookmark regularly.
