Here's my first try at kite skating with coyote rollerblades and the HQ Hydra 350. The winds were about 10 mph, the ground was wet, some places pretty
bad (causing me to stop sometimes). Was much easier than my failed attempt with the mountain board though.

I tried static flying the Apex III 7.5m but I think I didnt trim it enough because it kept on falling out of the sky when I had it sheeted in so I had
to keep it fully sheeted out (arms stretched out) for it to stay flying, when I sheeted in it actually felt like it lost power instead of the other
way around. Next time I'll try shortening the center lines to see if that helps:

(laugh all you want at the last video, it's pretty awful, lol)

Nice! Good looking spot too
Yes, the second kite looks way over-sheeted ... checked for stretch in the lines?

nice go ! keep at it.
let the trim out and should have reverse stall with bar all the way in

way to go!
I think there wasn't enough wind for the Apex but NEXT TIME !!!!!

How would I check for stretch in the lines? should all the lines be the same length? I did notice that the lines werent the same length but didnt
think much about it. I also noticed that the non-centerlines (front-lines?) had a bow in them which seemed odd to me but didnt really know what to
think.
It seemed like there should have been enough wind for the apex. The hydra was generating lots of power at the same time that I was failing with the
apex. Heres my gf with the Hydra and me with the apex in the background (it fell out of the sky quite a few times until I got tired and put it away):

Yes, same length.
Yikes, no knots in the lines!!!
