I know this is a buggy element supreme, but were there any other landboarders that went out on the out and back trek?
I felt this was a great part of the NABX event and curious to know where the land boarders fit into it. or do they?
GPS is not a standard piece of gear for me, yet, and doing the trek without is challenging.
gotta vid coming

i asked them when i got back on sat. they had not done it, and then the jam was on.
hard to get a feel of the # of boarders in general.
really a fun"desert rally" feel, we def have to try for a group go next year.
very cool ditch ramps along the way, not to mention the brush jump bonanza. the run back is the real prize!

So far you are the only one I know who has done it on ATB.
I started out on Blades but decided at 2 miles that I was going to hold the group back + was way underpowered so turned home while it was still safe
to do so alone. If I try it on Blades next year it will have to be early before I bash my big toe to bits in my boot.
I am planning to do it in a buggy at least next year.

it a kool run folks, felt like snowboard freeride esp. in the brush, like mogul hops, and a foot or two terrace ramps and stuff like that.
seeing other kites was KEY factor for navigation.
Phun Phactor was hi on this one.
