My 2m Flow seems it would be a bit much at wind speeds higher then 40mph. Any kites to buggy with when it's really windy?
I was busy at the time but wondered if my 1m Imp would have been able to pull the buggy around? Although; that Imp is really darty in ~20mph winds.

The only thing I would fly in winds like that is a real small nasa wing on bridles (no lines).

10m v, youch I'd fly a 1.2m flexi sting :D Gotta be careful in some high winds
as they may not be stable and the gusts will kill you.WIllardTheGrey - 16-4-2011 at 10:05 PM
HQ delta hawk starts at about 35 haven't found top end yet.:wee: Broke the lines in what registerd on a nearby meter as 53mph gust, only 200# line
however. That was on a land board.
BTW HQ says that the top end is 46mph so don't risk it if your not willing to break it.Seanny - 16-4-2011 at 11:03 PM
8m Charger or Synergy on short lines? Just a suggestion. 15m lines might do the trick, you'd just have to tune the kite properly or it will be
extraordinarily fast.indigo_wolf - 17-4-2011 at 05:17 AM
My favorite snippet on the Flexifoil Sting Product page: "The Sting was developed in wind conditions exceeding 50mph (not advised) to ensure that we are confident when we claim maximum stability even in
harsh winds and gusts."
They do however strongly recommend you upgrading to much stonger lines (that cost almost as much as the kite).

Have you tried your Flow on short lines ? 15m or less?
I won't promise anything in numbers but I do promise you will be able to handle it in much stronger winds . Cheap way to get better high wind out of
the kite you have + a wake up call to play with line lengths !
If I can't make a 2m work ( actually my 2.5 profoil ) the wind is too dangerous to play with in my world. I would rather live to kite another 20mph

in 60mph winds you will struggle to stand up!!kitedelight - 17-4-2011 at 09:35 AM
60mph! simply hold your jacket open and you'll go places. arkay - 17-4-2011 at 09:54 AM
The stings ship with puny lines and hollow think plastic handles, good for stunt kite flying, but put those in a special box and connect the kite to
whatever you usually fly.kiteetik - 17-4-2011 at 05:25 PM
a prism snapshot 1.2 on heavy lines would get u moving in a flexi bug at about 30 or 35......we did it before, so i know it works.....today i was
scudding with a rev exp in about 30--winds started really gusting, and i put it away before i got hurt......kiteetik - 17-4-2011 at 05:28 PM

It doesn't get that windy here :moon:hd883c - 17-4-2011 at 09:09 PM
Ya that 1m Imp will definitely pull you around. Out at NABX I was flying my 1m two line Imp trainer and I was doing 20+mph with it.PHREERIDER - 18-4-2011 at 07:14 AM
40-60 is no place for a kite. some seasoned fliers can get use of this extreme conditions.
sustained 30 with gust to "occasional" 45 is doable .
a solid 45-60 wind will wreck your body.
extreme caution advisedkiteetik - 18-4-2011 at 07:23 AM
a solution for 60mph winds and up--get some 1500 test line and attach to 122 lb Seanny--let out some line and hold onSeanny - 18-4-2011 at 07:50 AM
You can string it through Ricardo as line laundry :wee:flyjump - 18-4-2011 at 07:55 AM
hahahahahahahahahahaha, i was gonna say you could attach my boxers to handles and fly them, but attaching seanny to string will work too:Ange09:krumly - 18-4-2011 at 08:08 AM
I think there was a link to a video posted here a few years ago of somebody moving on a buggy with a 0.7m PKD Buster. Tiny 4 line foil, not made
anymore.

In 40-60 mph winds you could put a bridle on a manhole cover and fly that. Those are dangerous winds to be out in.Bladerunner - 18-4-2011 at 04:46 PM
Here is Markus making good time with a Pig of a kite in 09!
