spring has sprung

PrairieWind - 14-3-2011 at 11:13 AM

It was a colder than normal winter with the most snow Southern Alberta has seen in over 10 years. Spring came in a hurry and all that snow is melting big time. On Sunday we went to Bullshead Reservoir, just north of the Cypress Hills. There was still enough snow on the surrounding hills to play with some nice terrain.
Here is a short vid from Sunday...

The best part of the day was that it was actually warm enough (and not too windy) for my wife to have her first real session of this winter. I pass her at the beginning of the video, here is a picture of the area with the wife just getting started for the day...

A nice sunburn was well earned yesterday!

that looked like some really fun terrain to get out on. It's great when you get some breeze and a nice sunny spring day. As you worked your way to the top and coming down I kept thinking "send it!" wanting to see you get some air and drift down the slope ....next video.
