I went out this afternoon to try out a new location, half hour down the highway. Winds were 19km when we arrived, so out came the 12meter speed2.
Everything was going good with the wind picking up to bout 28km/h. I got in a bit of hang time.... But one time when I jumped I went bout 10 feet up
and ended up swinging out past the kite. Even though I came down fast and dumped the kite I still landed on my board and rode it out. I need to really
work on redirecting while I'm in motion; really coulda got hurt from that.
All else was going great, when I noticed myself losing ground. No matter how much I trimmed in pushed bar away I was still overpowered. Stopped for
a minute and with kite at the far edge of window I was getting pulled sideways and downwind. Checked the windspeed with meter. 37km/h:shocked2: Now I
know why I was struggling. Packed the speed away and pulled out the 6meter Access...Way better; I could now go any direction I wanted
I never realized how damn fast that little kite could be. Sent a good hour and a
half ripping back and forth. At one point the wind dropped and I could only go downwind, but it came right back up. One thing for sure is my legs need
some training, cuz I had to take a break every minute or two. Tonight they really feel like jello. All in all despite the scare of getting
overpowered, it turned to be a great day. I really need a Gopro soon.
Time to have a hot bath

... if you want to sell that Speed2 12m cos it's too much for you, I'm interested :D

hehehe good one. I love that kite, I just learned the line today when, it becomes the master and I the slave.:evil: Even funnier is that my access is
pink. Just the right colour when you need to pull out the skirt:D
