WOW, Great event. My head's still in a haze. Sure was tough getting back to work yesterday.
The trip started off with a rough 10 hour drive Friday though rain, then ice, and then snow. Lost count of all accidents and cars off the road.
Saturday was the day with just enough wind hanging around though the afternoon. The 14M Gin saved the day.
I've never seen so many kites up in one place. Someone counted 64 kites in the air one time. What a site. A good mix of skiers, boarders, and a few
buggies.
Always good to see the Nahant crew, HQ Chris, and nice hanging with Chuddy and BF at The Windjammer bar. Hope you took it easy on that thumb chicka.
Nice meeting snowkite speedfreaks Chris, Molly, and Claude. Gotta thank Chris for some helpful ARC tuning info. Now maybe I can get him to share some
speed secrets.
Saturday night Banquet was a full house with good food, good flix, and prizes and giveaways flying around the room.
No wind to be found Sunday, so we headed over to Mallets Bay to check out an ice autoX. Kober and I had a good time riding shotgun with a few drivers
and drifting the truck on the ice.

that I can actually snowboard with my kite .... when I share my passion on flying kites for a first time most of my friend call me a kid ...

KiteStorm on The Weather Channel. Got a laugh when he said "kite waterboarding". Kites are now part of the torture tactics at Guantanamo Bay?
