We had a nice snow kiting session at the local beach yesterday in 8-14mph winds. Martin on his 15m FS Speed3 and short twin tip skis stole the show
with plenty of airtime. Konrad (Kober) on the 8.5m Gin Eskimo and Snowboard really impressed us being only his 3rd or 4th time out and underpowered.
I was on the 11m Gin Eskimo with 185cm conventional skis. The 11 was the right call before the winds let up a bit and I was too lazy to walk back to
the truck for the 14m Gin or 15m Charger.
Hopefully the light rain today didn't put a big dent in the snow cover at the beach.
If we get lucky, the winds tonight will carry though tomorrow morning and we can get another session in early. Would sure love to try the Charger.

Great Vid!
Glad you didn't have to use the nordic skates on rough ice! Smooth sailing on the skis.Jaymz - 5-2-2011 at 08:52 PM
Smooth and stable, but not nearly as fast. Might have to tune up the skis and try on the ice. Try is the key word here. I still can't believe Feyd can
hold an edge with skis on ice like he does. Amazing edge control.....which I may be lacking. lolHouston AirHead - 5-2-2011 at 10:08 PM

Got back out on the beach again yesterday.
6 hour session in nice steady wind, but with temps in the mid 40's, the snow went from crust to slush to sandpaper.
The poor old Rossi's are toast.
