Bright n early. Look at the snow we have to play with here! Best year yet for snow hands down. Woulda been nice to ride it but it'll be there next
time.

i was up late late last night..Spencer had a fever couldn't sleep so wife brought him into our bed. no sleep possible with my fidgety little guy in
bed so I hit the couch around 3-4-ish. I was awaken a couple-ish of hours later by the venting caps of the house slamming hard open/close. About as
hard as I've ever heard.
i figured there's no way it's 16-20 knts.
made me remember that last time we went to cooking when it was so darn windy we couldn't even see the lake until we were standing on it.
next time.
BTW I asked Bud (Kiteguys) if hew was going to NABX (hauling gear). He says he likely isn't going this year. First time missing in 10 yrs or so.

Same stinky lake, yup. You get used to the smell but I still don't want it on my gear : )
Paul - you're 100% on the money. The only thing missing was the blowing snow (it's been so warm here that the snow stays pretty put). Otherwise it was
exactly like that time we took two steps onto the lake and turned around. Next time for sure - we gotta get a PL in Rico's hands before he goes home.
He lives an hour from Grassau (Flysurfer HQ in Germany). He's here for another month on practicum and then back home. He'll have all the FSer exposure
he could ever want at home, trying to get him some PL exposure to balance the education.
